The 2016 Media Architecture Biennale will take place across three locations: The main events will take place at the brand new cultural precinct The Concourse in Chatswood - designed by multi-award winning Australian architects fjmt. Other locations include The Michael Crouch Innovation Centre (MCIC) at the University of New South Wales and the Starship Cruise at Darling Harbour. The MAB16 exhibitions will take place across Chatswood, Circular Quay and the Botanical Gardens.
Workshops, the Workshop Keynote, and the Doctoral Consortium will be held at the Michael Crouch Innovation Centre (MCIC), located at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Kensington campus.

The Digital Publics and Smart Cities & Urban Innovation symposia, and the Opening Ceremony and Keynote, will take be held at the Concourse Civic Pavilion. The City Leader Forum will be held at the Mayor’s Chamber at the Willoughby City Council. The Conference and Keynotes will be held at the Concourse Theatre.
The Gala Dinner and Award Ceremony will be held on the Starship Cruise, leaving from Darling Harbour, King Street Wharf 4.

The Concourse is located in the heart of Chatswood on Sydney’s North Shore. It can be reached in 15 minutes from the Sydney CBD and 30 minutes from the airport by car.
The Concourse is a two-minute walk from the Chatswood Interchange, which incorporates both train and bus terminals. From the Chatswood Interchange, walk down Chatswood Mall and onto Victoria Avenue, east of the station.

The Concourse is equipped with an onsite car park for 400 vehicles located on the basement level of the venue adding to the existing 15,000 car spaces in Chatswood. The car park entrance is on Ferguson Lane via Archer Street. Accessible parking spaces are available in The Concourse car park and in nearby Endeavour and Spring Streets.
Chatswood train station is located at the Chatswood Interchange and is frequently serviced by Sydney Trains – T1 North Shore and Northern Line.
